Dr. Marie-France Prosper earned her PhD at Florida State University (with a dissertation entitled “Les figures maternelles dans l’oeuvre de Gisèle Pineau: Maternité et Identité”) and an MA in International Relations from the Université de Haute-Bretagne, France.

Dr. Prosper teaches upper-level Undergraduate classes in the French language, culture and literature, as well as the Graduate Reading Knowledge class and exam. She also supervises students involved in undergraduate research.

Dr. Prosper serves as the Undergraduate Academic Advisor.
