UF Study Abroad in Rio de Janeiro (Language Intensive Program)
The University of Florida and Georgetown University Summer Study-Abroad Program is typically held in mid June through early August. This language intensive program is housed in Rio De Janeiro and the Instituto Brasil-Estados Unidos (IBEU). Students from FSU and other institutions that are in good academic standing, have completed the first semester of the freshman year, are at least 18 years of age, and have completed two semesters of Portuguese with a grade of B or better are encouraged to apply for the program. Florida State University will accept credits for this program, however you should see your college's advisor to ensure that you will receive credit for your work in this program.
