Professor Enrique Álvarez, is an Associate Professor of Spanish. He received his PhD in 2004 from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. He is a specialist in 20th Century Spanish Poetry. His new line of research explores the relationship between emotion and masculinity in 20th Century Spanish Culture.
