Olga Romero Mestas
Professor Romero Mestas (Ph.D. in Spanish, Florida State University; MA in Latin-American studies, Universidad de Camaguey; BA in Journalism, Universidad de La Habana) is a Visiting Teaching Faculty of Spanish. Her research interests include topics from Colonial studies and Theory of resistance, such as the expression of political resistance in literary work, and alternative resistance through fraternal societies, particularly in colonial and post-colonial spaces. Professor Romero Mestas is also a fiction writer.
