It is our pleasure to announce that Ester Hernandez, a PhD student in Spanish Literature and the President of the Spanish Honor Society, has received the prestigious Gabriela Mistral Award for her academic achievements and noteworthy leadership and initiative at FSU.

The Gabriela Mistral Award is granted by the Spanish Honor Society's National Executive Committee and is presented to only one person per chapter yearly.
