Two Modern Languages and Linguistics students elected to the National Italian American Foundation on campus committee

Tue, 10/23/18

This year, the National Italian American Foundation selected 30 university students for the NIAF on campus committee. Florida State University’s Department of Modern Languages and Linguistic Italian Program was lucky enough to have two students elected, graduate student and instructor Matthew Kersich and undergraduate student Zoe D'Alessandro. Both were given the opportunity to participate in a weekend of events, all paid for on behalf of NIAF.  On the evening of October 12th, they met with the other students from around the country for the first time to discuss how the Italian-American culture can continue to be promoted on campuses. In the upcoming months, each NIAF on campus member will look to organize two events on behalf of their universities. Matthew and Zoe will look to do so for their own Florida State University.
